AI on the road: from my phone, a 24 GB Mac mini runs a 125B model, the slowest yet and the smartest
Travelling with only my phone, I had Claude try Strata, an open-source engine for models bigger than memory, on the Mac mini at home. It reads the parts of the 125B model that don't fit straight from the SSD, and runs at about 8 tokens a second. On the same ten questions as the 18 October test it scored 96 out of 100, the best yet, and it won the Connect Four coding contest with 94.4.
22 Oct 2026New PHP and Node.js vulnerabilities: a 3-minute check of the whole AWS account, a 2-minute fix
On the evening of 21 October Node.js and PHP announced new vulnerabilities (Go's fix had come out on the 19th). This morning I asked from my phone in Claude Projects; Claude scanned this Mac and all 17 AWS regions read-only and reported in 3 minutes. After my approval it upgraded the two affected items in 2 minutes, saving a rollback point first and testing afterwards.
18 Oct 2026A Mac mini becomes a local AI lab: six language models in a contest, plus images and songs
Over two days a Mac mini with an M5 Pro and 24 GB of memory was set up to run AI entirely on the desk. Six language models answered the same ten questions, wrote code that was actually run, and played Connect Four; the same machine then drew images with Qwen-Image 2.1 and composed a Chinese song with MiniMax Music 3.

For a trip for two to Harbin in January 2027, a monitor on the Mac mini checks every date and departure city three times a day, verifies the real return flights, works in the best coupon, and Koala, a Telegram bot running on Hermes, tells me when a fare drops. The rules are a few lines of settings, so it can watch any route.
11 Oct 2026An AI animal team on a Mac: Hermes and Claude in a UTM VM ship their first POC to beta.koopa.ai
From 9 to 11 October I set up a sandboxed Ubuntu VM on the Mac mini, ran Hermes Agent and Claude Code inside it, and turned them into a ten-animal team in one Telegram group. Each animal owns a step of the AI-DLC lifecycle, every gate waits for my approval, and the first project, Want To Eat, went live on a new AWS beta platform.

Claude Projects arrived, and the agent, skills and memory that used to live only on the computer now sit in a shared project anyone in it can reach from a phone or iPad. My wife and I used one to build the website for our West Sichuan trip, while the Mac mini at home did the work.

Over 7 and 8 October 2026 an agent team made three hand-painted music videos from one AI-doom earworm: a remake of the English original, a Singapore National Day Parade edition sung in English, Mandarin and Hokkien, and a Chinese retelling through Journey to the West. Claude Opus 5.5 directed each one; nine sub-agents painted the chapters, frame by frame, in code.

A usage snapshot from the monitoring dashboard on 5 October 2026: in one month the private local LLM handled about 2.76 billion tokens across 36.5 thousand requests from 53 active keys, with 99.6% of requests succeeding. All of it ran on our own hardware.

Excel to Power BI dashboard in one command, built by the local LLM
A harness for PI console that pairs a skill with the Power BI MCP server. Type the skill name, the Excel file and what the report should show; the local LLM reads every sheet, works out how they join, and creates a ready-to-open Power BI project (.pbip) with the dashboard.

The MiniMax H3 video model now runs on our own machine. Rather than learning ComfyUI's node editor, I built a harness the local agentic AI can drive: hand it the story, script, characters, backgrounds and sound, and it generates the film clip by clip, in parallel across the GPUs, then joins the clips into one movie.
18 Sep 2026OutSystems O11 early-access MCP: a local LLM that taught itself to build
O11 released an early-access MCP that did not fully work yet. Instead of waiting, I put PI console and the private local LLM in a loop: build, deploy, and on every error look through the OutSystems library, the samples and my own past modules, fix, redeploy, and keep the fix as memory and a skill. After two days of this self-learning it had become stable, and the findings went back to the OutSystems product team.

Built with PI console on the private local LLM, an MCP server now connects AI assistants to the SAP ERP system. Any colleague can pull SAP data by asking in plain language, and role-based access control decides what each person is allowed to see.

Given one prompt and a 30-second keynote opening, the office agent on a local model studied the film, split it into shots, and rebuilt each one in three.js, replaying and comparing every attempt with the real footage until it matched.

Working through Blender MCP, ChatGPT Astra 6.1 built a complete 3D model of a light delivery truck: cab, chassis, drivetrain and cargo box, rendered as studio stills and a walkaround film.

A goggled monkey cycles in an endless loop around Saturn's rings. The whole game was produced from plain-language prompts by a local LLM, and a chat box lets players restyle the monkey and the bike in their own words.

The office-automation agent filed a real expense claim from a receipt and one sentence, with a human confirming the final click, and a ledger that makes a double submission impossible.
12 Aug 2026OutSystems ODC: an AI agent builds the page, and low-code becomes no-code
A first trial of building on OutSystems Developer Cloud through its MCP server, with Claude Opus 5.1 as the agent. I described the page; the agent built it inside ODC. Low-code now feels like no-code, and it can be driven by our own agentic AI.
AI-DLC: AI in every step of delivery, a person signing every step off
The way of working behind the stock reconciliation gateway, written up as a reusable kit: nine steps from requirements to support, AI doing the work in each, a person approving every one, and the steps closing into a loop. A 60-second film explains it in English and Mandarin.

An on-premise ESG reporting engine. The local LLM cleans every line of an SAP spend export, classifies it to a carbon-reporting commodity, masks anything sensitive and writes a safe description, saving about 100 man-hours of manual work a year, while raw SAP details never leave the building.

A proof of concept for a print shop problem: shirt designs arrive as flat mockup pictures that Illustrator cannot print. In AI-AutoPrint, Claude AI reads the mockup and directs ChatGPT image generation to rebuild the artwork, and the results come back into the AutoPrint app as separate pieces a designer can check, regenerate and download.
The AI server rebuilt on Ubuntu as enterprise infrastructure
On 25 June 2026 the AI machine was wiped and rebuilt from bare metal. Windows and WSL came out and Ubuntu Server went straight onto the hardware: about 30% better performance, both GPUs fully used, one secured front door, full monitoring, and a platform a whole team can run and recover.

A phone app for a daily cross-border carpool: it keeps the checkpoint QR codes for both sides of the border, picks the right one for whoever is in the car today, and shows it full screen at the gantry.

Kopi-Kaki: one coffee-shop order for the whole crew
A phone app for the kopi run: every friend's usual drink is saved, so a round for the whole group is built in a few taps, kept in history and shared in one message.
18 Apr 2026The first local LLM platform goes live
Version 1 of the in-house AI platform: a private chat assistant, a workflow builder and open models, all on one on-premise GPU server, so staff can use AI without their words leaving the building.
A day-by-day site for a winter-snow and spring-blossom trip to Japan
A trip site for twelve days in Japan: Hokkaido snow first, then cherry blossom in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, with a countdown, one card per day and the plan for each day a tap away.
OpenClaw: a team of AI agents that works together in a Telegram room
On a new cloud server I set up OpenClaw and gave it a team: a tiger who leads, an owl who designs, a monkey who builds. Each one runs on a different cloud model, and they all sit in one Telegram group with me. I give a command; they plan, discuss, build and deliver, and the tiger keeps everyone on the brief.

为 PI 控制台打造的一套框架，把技能（skill）和 Power BI MCP 服务器结合起来。输入技能名、Excel 文件和报表要呈现的内容，本地大模型就会读取每个工作表、找出它们之间的关联，最后生成一个可直接打开的 Power BI 项目（.pbip）和仪表板。

我设计并主讲了 PI 控制台的发布分享会。PI 控制台是运行在私有本地大模型上的智能体控制台。分享内容包括它是什么、如何保证安全、现场演示，以及动手环节：同事们把自己每天的例行工作变成可复用的技能。
2026 年 9 月 20 日让本地智能体指挥视频模型的框架：每张 GPU 一段片子
MiniMax H3 视频模型现在跑在我们自己的机器上。我没有花时间学 ComfyUI 的节点界面，而是做了一套本地智能体可以操作的框架：交给它故事、剧本、人物、背景和声音，它就逐段生成影片，多张 GPU 并行，最后把所有片段合成一部电影。
2026 年 9 月 18 日OutSystems O11 抢先体验版 MCP：自己学会开发的本地大模型
O11 推出了抢先体验版 MCP，但还没有完全可用。我没有等，而是让 PI 控制台和私有本地大模型跑一个循环：开发、部署，每次出错就去翻 OutSystems 组件库、示例和我以前做过的模块，修好、重新部署，再把修法存成记忆和技能。这样自我学习两天后，它变得稳定了；发现的问题也反馈给了 OutSystems 产品团队。
2026 年 9 月 15 日SAP MCP 服务器：人人都能按自己的权限取 ERP 数据
用私有本地大模型上的 PI 控制台搭建了一个 MCP 服务器，把 AI 助手接到 SAP ERP 系统。现在每位同事都能用日常语言提问来取 SAP 数据，而基于角色的权限控制决定每个人能看到什么。

只给一个提示词和一段 30 秒的发布会开场影片，运行在本地模型上的办公智能体先看懂影片、拆成镜头，再逐个镜头用 three.js 重建，每次都回放并与原片对比，直到吻合为止。
2026 年 9 月 8 日AI 模型在 Blender 中建出一辆货车，从底盘到货厢
ChatGPT Astra 6.1 通过 Blender MCP，完整建出了一辆轻型货车的 3D 模型：驾驶室、底盘、传动系统和货厢，并渲染出棚拍效果图和一段环绕展示影片。
2026 年 9 月 7 日猴子骑行土星环：本地大模型做出的 3D 游戏，聊天即可换装
一只戴护目镜的猴子骑着自行车绕土星环无限循环。整个游戏由本地大模型根据自然语言提示词生成，玩家还能在聊天框里用自己的话给猴子和自行车换造型。
PI 控制台首次端到端完成报销申请
办公自动化智能体凭一张收据和一句话提交了一笔真实的报销，最后一步由人确认点击，台账机制让重复提交不可能发生。
2026 年 8 月 12 日OutSystems ODC：AI 智能体搭页面，低代码变成了零代码
第一次尝试通过 MCP 服务器在 OutSystems Developer Cloud 上开发，由 Claude Opus 5.1 担任智能体。我描述想要的页面，智能体就在 ODC 里把它搭出来。低代码如今感觉就像零代码，而且可以交给我们自己的智能体 AI 来驱动。

2026 年 7 月 7 日CarbonSenseAI：用本地大模型把 SAP 支出数据整理成 ESG 范围三报告可用的格式
一套本地部署的 ESG 报告引擎。本地大模型逐行清洗 SAP 支出导出数据，归类到碳排放报告的商品类别，遮蔽所有敏感信息，并写出安全的描述。每年可节省约 100 个人工小时，而且原始 SAP 明细从不离开公司。
2026 年 7 月 5 日AI-AutoPrint 概念验证：把客户效果图变成可直接印刷的设计稿
为印刷店的一个老问题做的概念验证（POC）：衣服设计常常只是一张效果图，Illustrator 没办法直接拿来印。在 AI-AutoPrint 里，Claude AI 看懂效果图，再指挥外部的 ChatGPT 图像生成把设计稿重建出来，结果回到 AutoPrint 应用里，拆成一件件素材，让设计师检查、重新生成和下载。
AI 服务器在 Ubuntu 上重建为企业级基础设施
2026 年 6 月 25 日，这台 AI 机器被清空，从裸机重新搭建。拿掉 Windows 和 WSL，Ubuntu Server 直接装在硬件上：性能提升约 30%，两张 GPU 全部用上，只有一个受保护的入口，监控齐全，整个团队都能运维和恢复。

一个每日跨境拼车用的手机应用：保存边境两侧关卡的二维码，按今天车上是谁挑出正确的那张，到闸口时全屏显示。

一个朋友间扑克牌局用的网页应用：开局后朋友用邀请码加入，记录每次买入和筹码，结束时一键结算，每位玩家的历史和统计都会保留。
Kopi-Kaki：一张单搞定全组人的咖啡店点单
一个“买咖啡跑腿”手机应用：每位朋友常喝的饮料都存好了，几下就能给全组点一轮，存进历史，一条消息分享出去。
2026 年 4 月 18 日第一个本地大模型平台上线
内部 AI 平台第一版：私有聊天助手、流程搭建工具和开源模型，全部运行在一台本地 GPU 服务器上，同事使用 AI 时，输入的内容不会离开公司。
日本冬雪与春樱之旅：一天一页的行程网站
为十二天日本之旅做的网站：先去北海道看雪，再到大阪、京都、奈良和神户赏樱。有出发倒计时，每天一张卡片，点开就是当天的详细行程。
OpenClaw：一支在 Telegram 群里协作的 AI 智能体团队
我在一台新的云服务器上装好 OpenClaw，并给它组了一支团队：老虎当组长，猫头鹰做设计，猴子写程序。每个角色背后接的是不同的云端大模型，大家和我同在一个 Telegram 群里。我下指令，它们分工、讨论、动手、交付，老虎负责盯着每个人不跑题。
