What was delivered

• A countdown to departure, then one card per day with a short, warm line about where we would be.
• Two chapters with their own look: winter in Hokkaido, from the lakes to the ski slopes and the canals, and spring in the Kansai cities under the blossom.
• A detailed plan behind every day, opened from its card.
• Hosted on a storage bucket behind a CDN with HTTPS and its own domain name.

Why it matters

My first project served from AWS: a small, personal site that turned a travel plan into something the whole family looked forward to opening, and the start of the hosting pattern every later project reused.
