What was delivered

- A shared Claude Project for the trip: my wife and I both post requests from our phones (she uses my account); each request becomes its own thread with its own Claude.
- The Mac mini at home connected through Remote Control: it edits the pages, checks them at phone and iPad widths, and uploads to AWS when I say “上传” (upload).
- chuanxi-2026.koopa.ai: an overview with a countdown and one page per day, with hotel details, drive times, and 高德地图 (Amap) buttons that open the app, since Google Maps does not work in China.
- Rules remembered once and followed on every page: phone and iPad layouts, Amap instead of Google Maps, only drive times once the local guide takes over, and never publish booking numbers.
- Theme song: When the Mountains Turn to Gold, made separately (ChatGPT wrote the lyrics and style prompt, Suno made the music) and uploaded; Claude turned it into a play bar on every page with MTV-style scrolling lyrics.
How a Project works
- Ask from anywhere: a message in the project chat, from a phone, iPad or browser.
- A coordinator Claude acknowledges and opens a thread for that task, with a short brief.
- The thread's Claude reads the project rules and memory first.
- It does the work on the Mac (or in the cloud), keeping a live checklist in the thread.
- Anything final, such as uploading the site or installing software, waits for a yes.
- It replies with the result and screenshots; “remember this” turns a preference into a rule for next time.
What changed
Agents, skills and memory already worked before, but only while I sat at the computer. Now the conversation lives in a shared place: two people can work on the same trip, several tasks run side by side in their own threads, and the rules we agree on are written down once and followed everywhere. The Mac still does the work; we no longer have to be at it.
