What was delivered

• Kaki profiles: each friend's usual drink, from kopi-o and teh tarik to Milo and bandung, with sugar, milk and temperature the way they like it.
• Pick who is coming, add the drinks to the cart and the whole order is ready to read out at the counter.
• Order history, sharing, and an invite flow to gather the group.
• Sign-in with Google, and installable on the phone's home screen like a native app.
• A serverless backend deployed as one stack: functions, an HTTP API and a database, with the app served through a CDN.

Why it matters

A small everyday problem, solved properly: nobody has to remember who takes their kopi siew dai. It was also the first app deployed with infrastructure as code, a pattern reused by every app after it.
